About This Design
The Cheeky Bloom Rug features a soft pink center framed by a deep burgundy wavy border. Its playful curves add character to your floor, while the two-tone design brings color without making the room feel busy.
Pair it with cream sofas, light wood furniture, or beige textiles to complement the pink center. Burgundy cushions or artwork can echo the darker border, while neutral furnishings let the rug stand out.
Hand-tufted from New Zealand wool and finished with an anti-slip backing, this pink area rug combines a unique design with practical features for everyday use. Available in multiple sizes for living rooms and bedrooms, it can also be customized on request. Explore more pink rugs from Scalloped Rugs’ exclusive collection.

FAQ
Will the rug color look exactly like it does on my screen?
Minor variations are normal, especially in handmade woolen rugs. All our scalloped rugs are photographed in natural daylight to show their shades as clearly as possible. Screen brightness, room lighting, and display settings may cause the color to appear slightly different in your space.
What if the rug edges are curled when I unroll it?
A bit of curling is normal after shipping. Lay the rug flat and place small weights on the corners for 24 to 48 hours. It will relax and settle naturally.
Can I order this design in a different shape?
Yes, all our scalloped rugs are made to order. Share your preferred size, color, or shape, and our team will create it specifically for your space. If you need help choosing the right dimensions or color, we’re happy to assist you. Contact us anytime to get started.
Will I have to pay import duty fees or tariffs?
Import duties and tariffs depend entirely on your country’s customs policies. Local authorities usually collect these charges, and they are not included in your rug price.
Sculpted by Hand, Not Machines
True quality takes time. Our rugs are hand-tufted using dense, premium wool to ensure a plush feel that machines cannot replicate. After tufting, we hand-carve the borders to give the scalloped edges a sharp, distinct definition. The result is a luxurious, thick texture that transforms your room.

What Makes a Burgundy Rug Work in a Room
A Burgundy rug adds warmth to a room without making it feel too dark. The deep wine color works well with blush, soft gray, natural wood, and brass, allowing lighter colors to stand out. In a bedroom, it creates a cozy setting, while in a living room, it complements neutral furniture. Pair it with low seating to create a relaxed setting, or use it to add color to a room that feels too pale.
Hand-tufting gives New Zealand wool its soft, cushioned feel. Artisans in India set the wool through the foundation by hand, then shear the surface to create an even pile. This process gives the rug a consistent finish and a comfortable feel underfoot.
